Strategy and project management for digital and experiential projects
As a strategist, I conceptualize and plan projects and initiatives that account for goals and audience needs.Â
As a program and project manager, I’m the glue that brings the team together and I keep track of the details without losing sight of the big picture.
As a communicator, I make sure ideas and messages reach the appropriate people in an approachable format.
P.S. My last name is pronounced “wig-god-ner.”Â
Over more than a dozen years working in non-profits and museums, I’ve worn many hats: digital strategist, exhibition project manager, website administrator, content coordinator, educator, visitor experience and accessibility advocate, grant reviewer, photo cataloger, and more.
But no matter the title, I am happiest when working at the intersection of people, process, and bringing complex, interconnected projects and ambitious ideas to life.Â
My approach to making projects happen involves the always-important work of managing schedules, resources, and budgets, but also encompasses a deep understanding of goals, relevant benchmarks and industry best practices, oversight of strategic deliverables, and communicating with stakeholders at all levels. I thrive as part of thoughtful, interdisciplinary teams navigating the intersection of audience needs and organizational goals to produce work that is engaging, inclusive, and visually appealing.Â
Showing up honestly and reliably, both personally and professionally.Â
Welcoming new ideas, new perspectives, and thoughtful iteration on process.Â
Caring deeply for others and understanding that we’re humans first.Â
Maintaining a belief that change is possible and that working for a better future is worth it.Â
I start my day with “Up First,” keep a lengthy To-Read list on Goodreads, and love a bingewatch.
I’ve been to 29 countries and counting, and my friends tell me I’m their favorite travel Instagrammer without a blog.
I’m always down to share a cheese plate, discuss my current favorite mac recipe, or debate Chicago versus New York pizza. (And I can’t resist a rom-com either.)
